True or False

  1. love occures at first sight between some people
  2. it is easy to distinguish real love from infatuation
  3. people who sincerely love each other will not fight and argue
  4. God selects one particular person for each of us to marry, and He will guid us together
  5. if a man and woman genuinely love each other, then hardships and troubles will have little or no effect on their relationship
  6. it is better to marry the wrong person that to remain single and lonely throughtout life
  7. it is not harmful to have sex before marriage if the couple has a meaningful relationship

~ KYLE & CECILY ~

March 31, 2007

Well here it is ... the lastest in Agassiz, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle and Cecily Dickey!   We celebrated with them on March 31, the sun was out and the day was nothing if it wasn't beautiful!  Giggles through vows, fellowship after the ceromony, a great meal at the Camp River Hall, tear jerking speeches, laughter and dancing characterized the day!  Here are some pics for you far away folks to enjoy!

Wow, it has been a long time since I have posted something in the world of blogs, I suppose an update is due!  I heard that there is a honeymoon period with these things ... and I guess mine has passed.  Hey, it seems that lots of folks are joining facebook ... am I crazy, or is that true?

anyway ... ok, let's see, what's new?

Well, we can officially call Dan and Viv 'The Sluys's.'  Their wedding was beautiful and we had a blast!  Here are a few of the girlies with the bride!  It was also really great b/c Deanna came home!  Hey Dee, update your blog and keep us all up to date on your todoings in NB!

My best friend and roommate of 4 years got engaged!  I can hardly believe it!  Here is a picture of her and her groom that was taken sometime last spring, are they in superworld or what?!?!  I am so happy for them!

Kyle and Cecily are getting ready to tie the knot ... man, it's only a week away! Holy cow, what's with all these weddings?  Anyway, it's going to be beautiful!  Good thing I got the day off work ... I wouldn't miss it for the world you two!

hummm ... what else has been exciting?  Well, my oldest friend ever came home from Australia and didn't tell ANYONE!  I learned she was back when she came waltzing into the Ag Hall for the Christmas Dinner like she'd never been gone ... AND she's already left again!  Off to teach English in Korea ... crazy girl.  Here is us reunited at last at MountainViews Christmas dinner.

Jonathan and I are having lots of fun!  It's not our first choice to be an hour apart ... but I am learning to be thankful that we are not a country or ocean apart, and thankful too that Mr. Bell invented the telephone and someone else invented the interenet and web mail!  Thank-you!!

Somehow we always end up looking like twins ... (and it's not always planned)

I guess the latest news, and diffently the most tragic is that as of April 30th the Pink Locker Room will be but a piece of history in the story of my life .. and Julie and Jess's.  I can't believe that a year is up already ... it seems like just the other day we were thrilled to have a fourth roomie for the summer! Morgan living with us was a blast!  It's going to be sad to say goodbye ... I guess all good things must come to an end.  We'll always have our memories!  We definitly are the raddest trio around!

In other news, I got a full time line at the hospital.  I am so thankful to finally have some sort of schedule!!  Starting the year with no classes, no sure start date for school, and casual emplyment, I was never sure what tomorrow would bring.  I realized that I do not like not having a plan.  Receiving a full time line has at least brought a bit of structure and 'plan' to my weeks ... I am sooo thankful!  I'm also taking the doula course in the middle of April.  (I only mention this b/c I would love it if someone took it with me!  Let me know if you're interested!)  It's at Douglas College and is only a weekend long!

alrighty, that's it for now

hey ... I updated my blog, you know what that means!

"I believe the greatest trick of the devil is not to get us into some sort of evil but rather have us wasting time.  This is why the devil tries so hard to get Christians to be religious.  If he can sink a man's mind into habit, he will prevent his heart from engaging with God."
